Dr. Liton Sarker, completed his BBA, MBA and Ph.D. degrees in the USA. He also started successful businesses and taught entrepreneurship and business management in an American university. Humanitarian Aid for Rural Development (HARD) Society was born in 2008 to eradicate poverty, eradicate illiteracy, and establish communities of character while empowering with dignity those previously without a voice.
HARD extends its impact by developing rural entrepreneurs through micro-finance and other projects, by improving healthcare, educational opportunities, innovation in sustainable agriculture, and other social services for villagers, and by responding with disaster relief and other humanitarian aid needs.
